At the pace you set.
Trauma work goes wrong when it moves faster than the person doing it.

Safety is the method
You will never be asked to tell me more than you want to tell me, or sooner than you want to tell it. Pacing isn't a delay before the real work. It is the work.
We build steadiness first, so what we open can be closed again before you leave the room.
What trauma leaves behind
Hypervigilance, numbness, a startle response that doesn't match the moment, relationships that feel like a risk assessment.
These are adaptations that once made sense. We treat them with respect while making them optional again.
Parts, not flaws
IFS-informed work means we assume every protective part of you developed for a reason, including the ones that get in your way now.
Nothing about you needs to be eliminated. It needs to be understood and given a different job.
This may be a good fit if you
- are managing well and still feel braced most of the time
- have avoided therapy because you don't want to relive it
- notice the past showing up in present relationships
- want depth work that doesn't overwhelm you
How I work with this
- Trauma-informed and IFS-informed throughout.
- Somatic inquiry for what the body is still holding.
- Psychodynamic and relational work on meaning and attachment.
- Integration and allyship support around psychedelic experiences. I do not offer psychedelic therapy.
How we begin
We start with a free 15 minute consult so I can hear the basics about why you're coming to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. From there we typically work in a 12-week structure, with goals worked every session.

Self-pay only. I provide a superbill on request that you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Therapy outcomes differ from person to person. Nothing here is a guarantee of specific results, and this website is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Most ED treatment is built for crisis. Very little of it is built for the years after, when you're technically “fine,” but still negotiating with your body every day.

Confidence. Body image. Desire discrepancies. Wanting to want it, and not knowing how. Nothing here is too specific to say out loud. I work with individuals and couples.

Most relationship problems aren't really about the thing you're fighting about. We'll look at the pattern underneath and actually work on shifting it instead of just talking around it.
