About
Direct embodied therapy

Insight is a start. It's not the work.
I work with people who've already done the insight work, who know why, who can talk about their patterns fluently, and are still stuck living inside them.
My job isn't to help you understand yourself better. It's to help you change.
Why I do this
The therapist I wanted to become
The first therapist I saw paused me and said, "I know that you're not supposed to say these things as a therapist, but I feel so strongly that you're meant to be a therapist and I want to tell you."
We had a strong therapeutic connection, with trust and radical honesty, and she met me there. She was always professional, but she didn't hide behind clinical restraint when it would keep us from real work and vulnerability.
I grew exponentially with her. Her bold honesty, her commitment to actively working on my goals in every session, and her matched vulnerability let me practice those things and then apply them everywhere else in my life. I became committed to becoming that kind of therapist. Not the kind who just sits and listens, who stays closed off while you struggle to say the thing you've never said out loud.
I'm committed to becoming an exceptional therapist.
Clinical approach
How I work
Clinically, I work from The Blau Method™, a structured therapeutic approach focused on honesty, accountability, and behavior change.
I also pull from psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy, somatic inquiry, and relational therapy. I'm trauma and IFS informed, and trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for eating disorders, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Existential Psychotherapy.
I hold an MSW in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University, where I also earned a within-degree certificate in psychedelic therapy. I don't offer psychedelic therapy at this time, but I can offer trained integration and allyship.
Having grown up a professional dancer and trained as a yoga teacher, I work from a somatic lens, and I take the body seriously as a source of information.
